Until I can return to working in clinical spaces without the complexity of the Covid19 Crisis, with the risks attached of compromising my client's privacy and well-being. I'm choosing to continue to practice online therapy and coaching as it means I can offer a safer and more consistent service to you.
This means we can take advantage of the fact we may be in completely different locations, removing the knock-on effect of disruption to sessions due to business trips during a course of treatment, or holidays and further lockdowns.
Despite my initial scepticism about the effectiveness of online therapy, I'm yet to have a conversation that I feel would have been a lot better, had we been in the same room.
Perhaps in a way, how we might also conclude that a telephone conversation is not necessarily any less meaningful than a face to face one.
Whilst not discounting the value of being face to face with another person, It may also be true that at times the distance created by working online may help us to sometimes feel and think more clearly. It's not unheard of for clients to feel as if they would like to get out of the room at times when they feel emotionally triggered.
I would like you to consider that these strange and challenging times could provide us with an excellent opportunity, to explore self-analysis through bespoke online courses via Zoom on a variety of self-development topics.
