I recently survived a sudden ruptured aortic aneurysm—a brush with death that could have ended everything. That experience reinforced what I already knew from decades of working with anxiety, depression, and trauma: life is precious, time is limited, and we can't afford to live inauthentically.
For over 30 years, I've practiced karate and martial arts. For nearly 20 years, daily yoga and meditation. I use breathwork, cold water therapy, and the Wim Hof Method—not as hobbies, but as tools for staying grounded, present, and alive.
These practices aren't separate from my therapeutic work. They are my therapeutic work. When I help clients manage panic attacks with breathwork, or recommend martial arts for building confidence, I'm sharing what's kept me sane, strong, and connected to myself.

I have extensive experience working with neurodiverse students and young people—from SEND schools to colleges and universities across Sussex. If you're navigating life with ADHD, autism, or other neurodivergent traits, you already know the world wasn't designed with your brain in mind.
I've worked alongside students who've been misunderstood, mislabeled, and told to "just try harder." I've supported young people in SEND schools who struggle with anxiety, meltdowns, and feeling different. I've counseled college and university students who are brilliant but overwhelmed—juggling deadlines, social expectations, and sensory overload while trying to figure out who they are.
Here's what I understand: Being neurodiverse isn't a deficit. It's a different operating system. My job isn't to "fix" you—it's to help you understand how your brain works, build strategies that actually fit your life, and reduce the anxiety and shame that often come with being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world.
Late diagnosis? Many of my clients discover they're ADHD or autistic as teenagers or adults. That "aha moment" can be liberating—but also overwhelming. We'll work through what this means for you, process past experiences through a new lens, and build a future that honors how your brain actually works.
