My lifelong passion has been creating and performing music, as well as more recently working in professional self development, providing therapeutic counselling and coaching and supporting people towards growing stronger and achieving their goals.
There are many things that I've learned in relation to psychology and behaviour that are essential to becoming a successful artist. I wish I had of known more about this when I was younger. Back then, like many young artists, I believed talent alone was more than enough to take us where we want to be.
The other helpful qualities and skills that we need to ensure success include maintaining a positive attitude and mindset, overcoming our shadow traits, and self-sabotage. Maintaining our focus and direction, and being disciplined.
As well as knowing when to let go of things that are not serving our best interests or our goals.
The last few months have provided me with the opportunity to reflect on the components that contribute towards becoming a successful musician.
I've consulted other professional musicians whose opinions I respect and value to help me put together a psychology-based coaching program for serious musicians. I call this 'Mind-Body Musician Coaching.'
This work includes informative and insightful value eBooks, as well as a bespoke one to one online coaching course designed to your unique specifications.
I hope you enjoy reading my course documents and find them useful. Please do get in touch and let me know your thoughts and any questions you have about this work.
One to one meetings will typically be in blocks of 6 90 minute sessions every other week or once a month for 2 hours.
